In the earliest days of Christianity, before there were printed Bibles to study or apps to scroll through, the good news of Jesus spread through one of the most powerful tools on Earth—story. When the Apostle Paul shared his faith, he didn’t hand out manuscripts. He shared the story of God’s eternal purpose to save humanity, with specific references to how his life was enfolded into God’s story. When he proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus, he simply told His story. And depending on who he spoke to, he highlighted the parts of his journey that mattered most in the moment.

The gospel moved at the speed of real conversations—life‑to‑life, person‑to‑person. And at Following Jesus Today, we’re embracing that same spirit today through Contemporary Stories of Saving Grace and Faith. These stories remind us that God is still changing lives, still rescuing, still speaking, still saving.

Our three-fold mission keeps us grounded and moving:

  1. Passionately declaring the Good News—helping others experience saving grace and faith as they decide to follow Jesus.
  2. Faithfully maturing disciples—journeying with believers as they learn, grow, and become more like Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
  3. Actively sharing our faith—so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

And our goals aim high because the gospel calls us higher:

  1. Document 100 stories from people of every background.
  2. Share 100 story videos that inspire, encourage, and ignite faith.
  3. Lead countless seekers into a saving relationship with Christ.

As followers of Jesus today, we are called not only to receive the message but to share it. As we have freely received, we freely give.

So, if you have experienced the saving grace of Jesus, your story matters. Someone needs to hear it. Someone’s life may change because you were willing to share.
